Risk Advisor

Randstad is searching for a skilled and accomplished Risk Advisors who possesses a keen eye for detail and excels in their field. This role requires the ability to build and sustain strong relationships. Our collaborative department is in need of an enthusiastic individual who embraces challenges and is committed to making a positive impact within disability services for the federal government.

About your new role

The Risk Advisor is responsible for providing high-level technical and professional support to help navigate complex problems and achieve its strategic goals. Working under limited direction, the role exercises autonomy to interpret legislation and policy while delivering specialist risk advisory services, such as identifying and assessing risks, designing controls and overseeing treatment plans.

What you will need to exceed

• Demonstrated experience in the full risk lifecycle, including identification, assessment, analysis, evaluation, treatment, monitoring, and reporting.
• Ability to develop and apply various risk management frameworks, methodologies, and principles.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills to maintain networks and the ability to influence and negotiate effectively with stakeholders.
• Be flexible and able to manage demanding, competing priorities.
• You must be comfortable dealing with conflict, challenging behaviors, and confronting or complex information while providing empathy.
• You need the skill to interpret and apply legislation, policies, procedures, and standards to achieve specific outcomes under limited direction.
  
• Be able to provide detailed technical and professional advice regarding complex problems and operational support.

Must have

• The ideal candidate must have advanced expertise in using MS Projects and possess exceptional scheduling skills

Desirable

• Formal qualifications in Risk Management are considered highly desirable for this position.
